In brief
A message of welcome from Ms Preetha Ramprasat, President of OATN, to members, students, partners and everyone who cares about eye health.
Ms Preetha Ramprasat
President, OATN
Dear colleagues, friends and well-wishers,
It is a privilege to welcome you to the home of the Optometric Association of Tamil Nanbargal. Our name carries the Tamil word for “friends”, and that is exactly what we aspire to be: a family of professionals who support one another and serve the public together.
Optometry stands at an important point. People everywhere are depending on us for clear vision, early detection of eye disease and honest advice. To meet that trust, we must keep learning, keep our standards high and keep speaking up for our profession. OATN exists to help you do all three, through our conferences and workshops, our training programmes and our advocacy.
To our students, I say: you are the future of this profession, and this association is yours. To our senior members, I ask for your guidance and your time. To everyone who shares our concern for eye health, I extend an invitation to work with us.
Our message has not changed since the day we began: Let us Join together. I invite you to become part of OATN and to help us build a healthier, clearer future for the people of Tamil Nadu and beyond.
With warm regards,
Ms Preetha RamprasatPresident, Optometric Association of Tamil Nanbargal
